When you’re creating content, a major challenge is getting eyes on your posts, and knowing when to publish your content isn’t always easy. In this article, we are going to help you answer the question “When to post on social networks?” and give you the tools to find out what tone to give the conversation to capture potential customers.

Create A Content Plan

A social media plan mixes content topics and user needs in a balanced way – Don’t just think advertising, think of more interesting user-led topics and content that will be enjoyable for your potential visitors to engage with. If you have an editorial plan, you will not find yourself publishing exclusively advertising posts. The idea is to create engagement around your brand or your products and not just about them, this can only be achieved by being original and providing your users with an incentive that pushes them to follow you.

How often to post on Social Networks?

Let’s move on to the inexact science of the times to publish on social media

Well, there are thousands of statistics around on the perfect time to post on social networks, these are not entirely wrong but at the same time must be taken as purely indicative to carrying out more precise tests. Let’s look at them:

When to post on Instagram?

To get the most engagement on your Instagram posts, you need to share content when your audience is most likely to engage with it. Luckily, users on Instagram have very similar habits.

Social media platform statistics showed 12 million Instagram posts in multiple time zones from accounts ranging from 100 to 1 million+ followers. They showed that, generally, the best time to post on Instagram was Wednesday between 1 pm and 3 pm GMT.

When to post on Twitter?

The best results, according to statistics, are obtained from Monday to Saturday, in the hours ranging from 07:00 to 9:00 in the morning or even from 13:00 to 14:00 or from 17:00 to 18:00. The peak of greatest interest occurs on Monday and Thursday.

When to post on Facebook?

Again, according to the statistics, the best results are obtained from Monday to Thursday, with particular attention to Wednesday, where the highest peak of engagement is recorded between 15:00 and 19:00. The best times to post on the remaining days would appear to be around 12 pm, 1 pm, 2 pm, 5 pm or 6 pm.

When to post on LinkedIn?

In this case, as LinkedIn is more B2B focussed, the best results would be obtained between Tuesday and Thursday, the best times are between 07:00 and 09:00 in the morning or between 12:00 and 14: 00 in the early afternoon or between 17:00 and 18:00. Probably due to the work breaks of professionals and general work hours.
