Google AdWords trends of 2019

The benefits of running a successful Google Ads campaign with a professional company cannot be overstated. Search engine marketing has been a great tool for years but the industry is getting increasingly complicated. It’s not enough to place an ad in 2019. You have to understand an always-changing system and be able to stay one step ahead of the competition. Doing that is a full time job in and of itself and it is almost impossible to do that while running your successful business.

The update from Google AdWords to Google Ads brings many new features such as an increase in automated and smart options with new and updated tools that are integrated into the Google Marketing platform.

The new features open up possibilities for professionals. However, these same features could confuse and discourage novice search advertisers.

The use of voice search is changing the way keywords are used. People are abandoning typing and using their voice assistants to answer their questions for them. Because of the semantic differences between actually speaking to typing, search engines are having to adapt to a whole new way of receiving requests. One major trend in Google Ads in 2019 is that context will matter almost as much as keywords. This means content must be written in a way that naturally includes keywords and phrases but also has the context necessary to develop alongside the new technology.

User signals are becoming more important too. This is the action a user takes when on your site. If they click a link and then immediately leave your site, this can negatively affect your rankings. This means that it is more important than ever to ensure keywords and phrases are relevant to your products and services.

Remarketing is a fantastic tool for advertisers and Google ads is making it more prominent than ever before. If someone clicks on a product or even adds it to their cart without buying it, you can be assured that they’re interested in the product. By remarketing things they are already interested in, you give the customer an incentive to revisit your site and, hopefully, start purchasing.

An already complicated sector is only becoming more overwhelming in 2019. This makes it even more vital that businesses looking to succeed online work with SEM professionals to ensure they don’t miss out on revenue and waste their time and money.
